Software

Available here are a few of our programs which we are making available for download including 'ARIClip' and 'Duct_Convertor'. These should be useful tool when working in AutoCAD in the building services field. More will follow.

Blue Thorn has developed a range of software for its own internal use for modelling 3D building services. We are currently rewriting the software to work on the latest operating systems using Microsoft's .net framework.

This software will model ductwork, pipework, drainage, electrical systems and basic steelwork. It is also set up to allow quick and easy marking of these systems. All of the visualisation and animation you see on this site was modelled using our EasyBuild package

It is our intention to make this program available for download allowing. Meanwhile below are a couple of programs which may be of use. We would be interested in your feed back to enquiries@bluethorn.co.uk

Filename	Description
Converter.zip	Converts rectangular ductwork to circular sizes or equivalent rectangular sizes. Replaces the need for a ductulator in size conversions. Note: This is an executable file contained within a zip file
AriClip.fas	ARICLIP - This routine allows sections to be taken and displayed in modelspace and paperspace. Don't forget to enter the elevation when asked to get to the correct section height. The 'fas' file format may be used the same way as a 'lsp'
